Facebook To Launch Online Game Show "Confetti" In India, Cash Prize Money 3 Lakh

Facebook is all set to launch Confetti, an interactive trivia game in India on 12th of June, Confetti is an interactive game that may give chance to users to win as much as Rs. 3 lac. The show will be aired live five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday on Facebook video platform Facebook watch. In this game there will be culture based trivia questions which will be answered by the participants and if they win, will be given a cash prize of up to Rs 3 lac. The show is produced in partnership with Freemantle.

This online game show was initially launched in US in June 2018 and after that was introduced in four other countries Thailand, Canada, Mexico and Philippines.

“Confetti is a new social video interactive initiative from Facebook for our Indian users, this is one of its kind live interactive show that is aimed at building community together. It has been success in various South Asian countries already” said Manish Chopra, Director and Head of Partnership, Facebook India.

Confetti is Facebook’s first official game show in India, the entire gaming experience of Confetti will be designed to suit the Indian context. As per Mr. Manish Chopra Whether it’s the questions, the host, the prize money or any other elements of this game have been designed, developed and formatted by keeping in mind the Indian users.
