HTC Back to India with its WildFire X 'My Buddy' Smartphone

Smartphone maker HTC has made a tremendous and surprised come back in the Indian market. The company has launched its smartphone Wildfire X today (14th Aug 2019) in India after many years. Speculations were being made since some time that the company would be launching HTC Desire 19+ in India. This smartphone was launched in Taiwan recently, but HTC has something else in its pocket for the Indian users and they launched a smartphone with cheaper quad camera in India. It has been launched in two variants.

HTC Wildfire X has been launched with two storage variants 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 128GB. The phone has been launched with 'Mybuddy' pre-loaded features that will provide users with personal security services. The base variant of the phone has been launched at a price of Rs 9,999 while the other variants have been launched at a price of Rs 12,999.

This smartphone will be made available on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Its first sale will be held on 22 August. This smartphone will give a tough competition to other budget smartphones companies like Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo. Talking about the features of HTC Wildfire X, it has a 6.22-inch HD Plus display with Water-drop Notch feature, which has a resolution of 720X1,520 pixels. It has an IPS display that protects the phone from dust and liquid damage. The phone has a 12nm 2.0 GHz processor. Talking about the camera features of the phone, three cameras have been given in its back and one camera in the front. The phone has a 3D OPVD mirror finish design. The smooth curves and 3D OPVD mirror finish help accentuate its looks further. Also, when light strikes the back cover of this phone, the unique Hyper Optical patterns tend to glitter, letting your personality shine.

Talking about the specifications of the camera, it has a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 5-megapixel third sensor. This smartphone will support 8Xhybrid zoom. Also, it has a dual tone LED flash. The front of the phone has an 8 megapixel selfie camera.

You don't have to worry if your phone is stolen because Wildfire X comes with a MyBuddy accessory which lets you track your device location with ease. You can even track the accessory with your smartphone . Also,this accessory can trigger a loud alarm, send your phones live location to your friends or family, and can also transmit the real time audio or video of the surroundings. This feature helps keep your near ones informed of your location when you're travelling on a lonely road or some dark alley and feel threatened or sense danger.

The phone comes with two storage options and you can increase its memory up to 256GB via microSD card. The special feature of this smartphone is that it has USB Type C charging support, which is given with 10 watt fast charging. The phone has a battery of 3,300 mAh. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie operating system.

The company launched HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+ about two years ago in India. After a long time smartphone brand is now coming back in India.
