Google: All Smartphones Will Run on Android 10 After 31 January
Google has officially rolled out the new mobile OS version
Android 10 last month. Which was made available for Pixel and Essential. At the
same time, the company had announced that Android 10 Go Edition will be
introduced for the entry level smartphone soon. In the new OS, users will get
many new features. After rolling out Android 10, Google has now announced that
all smartphones coming after 31 January 2020 will run on Android 10 and
companies must first take approval from Google to use Google Mobile Services.
According to the report by XDA Developers, all the new
phones that will be launched after 31 January 2020 will all only run on Android
10 OS. The report also informs that phone maker companies have to first get
approval from Google to get the facility of Google Mobile Services (GMS) and
only then they will be able to use it. Google has also made it clear that after
2020 Android 9 Pie based smartphone will stop approving.
The biggest feature of Android 10 is that the company has
not introduced the new OS in the name of a dessert this time. Rather it is
named Android Q. Users will get many new features in Android 10, including the
features available in Apple iOS 13. Android 10 is said to be the most secure
operating system ever. Keeping in mind the convenience of the users, it has
included features such as system wide dark mode, sharing features, dual screen
compatibility, multi-tasking mode, single button use, digital well-being.
Top Features of Android 10:
- System wide Dark Theme: it is the most demanding feature by users. It is most probable that dark mode will be available in Android Q.
- App Permission: Privacy is main concern, so android Q is gives new permission settings for applications. That gives you more control over apps, controlling access to share files on your phone.
- Share Menu Improved: According to Google share menu interface can load instantly when it is launched.
- In Built Screen Recording: In beta 1 inbuilt screen recording is released.
- Supporting Fold-able Phones: Already research is going on fold-able screen phones by many companies. Google has optimized Android Q with fold-able specific features and experience.
