Aarogya Setu IVRS: Coronavirus Tracker launched today for feature phone users

Central Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has launched the Coronavirus Tracker (COVID-19) Aarogya Setu app for feature phone users. It was launched last week for smartphone users. Which has been downloaded by more than 10 million people within just three days. It has been launched for feature phone users under the name of Aarogya Setu IVRS. The app has been created in collaboration with the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Through this app, people will get information about Coronavirus related advice, healthcare facility etc.

Launching the app, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Government of India and the State Government of Tamil Nadu have jointly started the Aarogya Setu IVRS service. To start this service, you have to give a missed call and give information about your location. After which you get all kinds of advice related to coronavirus, healthcare guidance. It has been prepared by the Central and Tamil Nadu Government with the help of IIT Madras and DoT (Department of Telecommunications). Users of Tamil Nadu can avail this service by making a missed call on 9499912345.

He further said that this service will soon be started for other states as well. Both the Aarogya Setu and Aarogya Setu IVRS apps have been launched to help people with symptoms of coronavirus and help.

Millions of smartphone users have downloaded the Aarogya Setu app launched last week. The Aarogya Setu app is available on both platforms Android and iOS for free. This app also gives you tips on how to avoid coronavirus, in addition to social distancing, it also provides information about frequent hand washing and use of masks. The app is available in Hindi and English as well as regional languages ​​like Gujarati and Marathi.
