OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi will work together on file transfer system



Popular smartphone makers such as Black Shark, Meizu, OnePlus and Realme have joined the P2P File Transmission Alliance. Till now, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi were the initial members in this alliance. All these companies have jointly developed a file transfer protocol, which claims to do cross band wireless file transfer. This protocol was first announced in China in August 2019. In February 2020, it was introduced for Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi users. Which Apple iOS users get for AirDrop feature file transfer. But currently there is no such tool for Android, in which multi-platform file transfer can be done.

For information provided on China's micro-blogging site weibo, companies like Black Shark, Meizu, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi have come together to create multi-platform file transfer systems for Android users. Because as of now, there is no such system on Android platform, with the help of which multi-platform file transfer can be done. According to the report, its testing on Android Q will also start soon.

By the way, let us know that the feature named Fast Share has been introduced in the market before but this feature is not available in all Android smartphones. In such a situation, these giant companies have formed an alliance for multi-file transfer to Android users. Also, Chinese smartphone maker companies will now jointly create and develop P2P file transfer protocol.

Reports revealed so far have informed that the new file transfer protocol for the Android platform will be able to support a variety of file formats. With the help of its protocol, users will be able to transfer files with a speed of 20Mbps. Once a stable connection is made between two devices, files will be received and sent with better speed.
