Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, an affordable tablet launched with 10 inch display, four speakers and 7040mAh battery

Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Tab A7 with impressive specifications in India. It is available for sale in both LTE and Wi-Fi variants. There will be three color options in the tablet. The Galaxy Tab A7 has a 10.4-inch display and quad speaker setup. It comes with Dolby Atmos sound support and is just 7mm thick. For multi tasking and processing, the Galaxy Tab A7 has an octa-core processor, 7,040mAh battery is provided for longer battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7: Price and Availability in India

The Wi-Fi only model of the Galaxy Tab A7 is priced at Rs 17,999 while the 4GLTE model is priced at Rs 21,999. It can be purchased in dark gray, gold and silver color options.

The Galaxy Tab A7 is available for pre-order at Samsung.com, the major online portal and select retail stores. However, the company has not shared any debt about when its sale will start.

With pre-booking, customers can buy a keyboard cover for Rs 1875, which is actually priced at Rs 4,499. Additional cashback of 2 thousand rupees is also being given to customers on purchase with ICICI credit and debit card. 

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7: Basic Specification

The Galaxy Tab A7 runs on Android 10 based One UI 2.5. It has a 10.4-inch WUXGA + (2000x1200 pixels) TFT display. It is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of onboard storage which can be increased from micro-SD card to 1TB.

For photos and videos, the Galaxy Tab A7 has an 8-megapixel rear camera that can record full-HD video at 30fps. The 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front can be used for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 include LTE (optional), dual-band Wi-Fi, 

Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Beadoo, Galileo, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

The tablet is a 7040mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging. Sensors include accelerometers, gyro sensors, geomagnetic sensors, hall sensors, and ambient light sensors. The dimensions of the tablet are 157.4x247.6x7.0 mm and it weighs just 476 grams. The LTE variant weighs 477 grams.
