Preparing to give a big blow to China, cheap mobiles and smart TVs will be made in India

The efforts of the Government of India to manufacture smartphones and televisions domestically seem to be paying off. Veteran tech company Samsung has announced that it will set up a display manufacturing unit in India. Samsung said that it has completed the construction work of Samsung Display Manufacturing, which will be shifted from China to Noida in Uttar Pradesh. In this matter, Samsung's Southwest Asia President and CEO Ken Kang met UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Samsung said that it has been promised a better industrial environment and investor-friendly policy for display manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, Samsung has decided to shift the display manufacturing unit located in China to India.

What will be the benefit

If Samsung is to be believed, setting up a display manufacturing unit will help India and Uttar Pradesh become manufacturing hubs. During this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Samsung's Noida factory will be a classic example of Make in India program. This will help the youth of the state to get employment. He assured all possible help in setting up the Samsung Display Manufacturing Unit.

Cheap mobile and smart TV will be made in India

Let us tell you that the government of displays had imposed a 10 percent duty on the import of displays last year. This increased the cost of manufacturing many electronic goods, including mobile phones and smart TVs, as most of the displays were supplied from countries like China. However, by manufacturing displays in the country of companies like Samsung, the price of smartphones and smart TVs can be kept under control. Let us tell you that Samsung supplies displays to many smartphone companies. The names of companies like Apple, Xiaomi and Realme come in this.
